On September 13 2016, the Slovak art exhibitions was officially inaugurated by the Prince Albert II of Monaco.
On the occasion of the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU, Slovakia has become the guest of honor at an art exhibition Les Journées de L’Art-Bre (Days of Art-Bre) with the participation of artists from all over the world.
The exhibition was held under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and was placed in the picturesque town of Roquebrune Cap Martin adjacent to the Principality of Monaco on the Côte d’Azur.
The beauty of Slovakia, Slovak art and environmental protection was the theme of the sixth edition of this prestigious exhibition. Our country presented its creative energy in sculpture and photography. Top Slovak sculptors such as Milan Lukáč, Ivan Pavle, Oto Báchorík, Juraj Čutek, Mária Rudavská and worldwide renowned photographer Filip Kulišev had the honor to present Slovak republic through their artistic creation.
The Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in the Principality of Monaco, Ms. Tatiana Paracková and the Honorary Consul of Monaco in Slovakia, Mr. Miroslav Výboh represented Slovak participation in such artistic event.
Mr. Marek Eštok, the Ambassador of the Slovak republic in Paris also attended the opening ceremony.
Art exhibition Les Journées de L’Art-Bre, which took place in a magical olive park “Cap Martin” was opened to the public from 14 September until 16 October 2016.
